nuTravel Introduces FlexAlerts

Customized Alerts Created to Increase Attachment Rates

Purchase, New York – July 26, 2015 – nuTravel, provider of the corporate travel industry’s most reliable and flexible booking solutions, today announced the addition of FlexAlerts, an add-on to the nuTravel Enterprise platform. FlexAlerts sends customized emails at specifically-configured intervals to remind and assist travelers in adding missing hotel or car to existing travel reservations.

“Low attachment rates are a concern for many companies,” says Rich Miller, Executive Vice President at nuTravel. “We believe FlexAlerts will appreciably increase attachment rates, which will have a positive effect on our clients’ revenue and their bottom line. The increased attachment rate will then provide travel managers with more data to improve their negotiating power with suppliers along with a stronger duty of care program. All of these bookings will be done inside of their program rather than in an ‘open booking’ mode where they typically do not have visibility into this information.”

The FlexAlert emails contain links that send the user back to the Enterprise platform where they can easily book additional components of their trip. FlexAlerts can be configured to be sent at a specific time – either after the original reservation was made or before travel occurs – giving the Travel Manager complete control over the notification process.
