nuTravel Technology Solutions (nuTravel) – an industry-leading corporate online solutions provider – has been selected by JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq: JBLU) to develop and deploy the airline’s business travel portal.

In the early part of 2012, JetBlue set out in search of a provider to deliver a corporate booking solution whereby the popular airline would attract and maintain SMEs and ultimately enhance its corporate booking platform.

After an RFP and intense diligence process, JetBlue selected nuTravel as its provider. The Port Chester, New York-based travel technology company has proven itself as true experts in building corporate booking solutions – especially in the airline space.

Through extensive research, JetBlue found that SME customers typically use more discretion in choosing airlines and favor a preferred partner program. While JetBlue builds loyalty among all customers with its True Blue loyalty program, for corporate travel accounts points will be awarded to both the traveler as well as the company.

This corporate traveler solution will allow the airline to rapidly expand its base of customers in the corporate arena. With the forthcoming nuTravel-developed solution, JetBlue’s corporate partners will be able to shop and book online for air, car rentals and hotel, and earn valuable rewards on future travel.
