nuTravel acquires TRX’s RESX online booking operations, ranks amongst top booking solution providers

Online booking tool provider nuTravel Technology Solutions (nuTravel) has finalized the acquisition of TRX’s corporate travel self-booking business, RESX. In this strategic move, nuTravel’s client base will grow to 115 distributors supporting more than 2,300 small, medium and large corporations, servicing nearly 1.5 million travelers while combining the technical strengths of both the CTS and RESX booking technology platforms.

nuTravel retained the services of Frank Sena of Bentley Associates as advisors on the deal.

In addition to the acquisition, nuTravel and TRX have agreed on a mutual referral agreement whereby customers of both companies can benefit by purchasing bundled booking and expense solutions as well as other products and services offered by both companies.
