nuTravel, etouches enter partnership to improve online booking and event registration processes
Deal enables Single Sign-On functionality for meeting registration and travel bookings, saving companies time and money and streamlining process for users
Two forward-thinking travel and event technology companies have entered into a preferred partnership agreement that allows event attendees to complete online event registration and online travel bookings simply and seamlessly through one source.
The deal was reached between nuTravel (http://www.nutravel.com), a Port Chester, NY-based developer of the corporate travel industry’s fastest and most flexible online corporate travel booking tools, and etouches, based in Ridgefield, CT, which provides a comprehensive suite of online event registration and management tools to the corporate, association, media, education and third-party event planning markets around the world.
By streamlining online meeting registration and travel bookings into a Single Sign-On process, event planners can better control costs, save time and money, stay within company guidelines, and offer an experience that is fast and fluid for event registrants.
As travel and event management functions fall under increased scrutiny at executive levels and appear to be merging in the corporate infrastructure, it was only natural for someone to develop a solution that merges the travel booking and event registration processes under one roof. nuTravel and etouches will be showcasing their integrated functionality at the upcoming National Business Travel Association (NBTA) annual conference in Houston Aug. 9-11 at Booth 655.
The two companies recently completed a cross-integration that allows for the functionality of both products in either of their systems.
Users can create complete meeting registration reservations that encompass travel activity through a Single Sign-On, as well as utilize functionality that allows for Automatic and Self Registration, Password Synchronization, Search Criteria specification and the ability to book travel without creating a profile. Administrators can also create events, preset destination details and apply preferred suppliers.
