For the past 10 months, nuTravel has conducted a pilot test with a specially selected Canadian travel company and several of its corporate clients to provide a Canadian version of its CTS product. nuTravel’s motivation was to offer a competitive product to its agency partners, providing the agencies’ corporate clients with a low cost alternative to its full service offering.

The product enhancements for the Canadian market displaying Air Canada search results, including displaying the class of service fare type (Tango, Tango Plus, Latitude, Latitude Plus of Executive fares). When searching for Air Canada Flights, the traveler has the ability to search for either the lowest fare or by fare type. CTS is also compliant with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Document Act (PIPEDA). Language tables are being developed to allow users the ability to operate the service in English and French Canadian; functionality which will then be used to develop other languages. The booking tool offers advanced searching capabilities and “seamless booking” to 14 airlines including Air Canada ( USA and Canada ), CanJet, WestJet, AirTran, America West, Continental, Delta, easyJet, Frontier, JetBlue, Northwest, Ryanair, United, and US Airways. This ability to book GDS, non-GDS and negotiated fares with nuTravel’s online booking tool allows corporate travelers to capitalize on the lowest fares in the market.
