nuTravel’s CTS Unveils Leg Fares, becomes only Corporate Online Booking Tool to offer this feature

The nature of business travel has been travel agents providing business travelers flight arrangements based on scheduled requirements; time sensitive travel planning based on arriving at a destination at a specific time of day. nuTravel’s latest release brings this functionality, including Leg Fares, directly to its clients’ desktops, adding a feature that is currently non-existent in the corporate online booking arena

The nature of business travel has been travel agents providing business travelers flight arrangements based on scheduled requirements; time sensitive travel planning based on arriving at a destination at a specific time of day. nuTravel’s latest release brings this functionality, including Leg Fares, directly to its clients’ desktops, adding a feature that is currently non-existent in the corporate online booking arena.

“This reinforces nuTravel’s commitment to providing the best functionality while offering our travelers the lowest available fares,” says Carmine Carpanzano, President and CEO of nuTravel. “A traveler can now search for a multi-leg trip seeing the cost of each leg. For example, a 9am flight to Dallas is $150, however the 8:30am flight is $100. Knowing the price of each leg could cut costs from 33% to 50%, significantly adding to the already lower agency fees.”

In addition, nuTravel has added an exclusive feature for the Canadian market. When performing a search for an Air Canada flight, the search results will also provide the class of service, showing Tango, Tango Plus, Latitude, Latitude Plus or Executive fare. This information allows the traveler the ability to determine whether or not he/she can upgrade the leg. Adding leg fare functionality to its roundtrip search, combined with seamless direct non-GDS fares, makes CTS one of the best new product offerings available today.

This new release has been rolled out to a limited number of nuTravel’s distributors including TQ3 Canada, Tzell Travel Group, and Advance Travel. It will be available to all of nuTravel’s clients within the next few weeks.
